“If you are interested in surfing but not fully committed or a little scared to take a lesson, rent a stand-up paddle board from Surf n’ Sea in Haleiwa ($20/hour) and paddle in the calm and very scenic Haleiwa river. You’ll be able to stand up on a surfboard without ever having to catch a wave.”
