Here you can enjoy a great view, have a cold beer, while the children are getting wet paddling on the roof. You do not have to enter the museum to enter the roof. Just walk in to the main entrance, take the left elevator to the roof and enjoy! It's public space.

Walk up there to see a splendid view of Amsterdam. The roof entrance is free.
