I'm a sucker for zoos. My favorite exhibits at Woodland are the Tropical Rain Forest House and the Bug House

Award winning nonprofit zoo with a wide variety of animals, exhibits and fantastic landscaping. Zoo lights in the winter, concerts in the summer, well cared for animals all the time.

Years ago, the zoo gave up enclosed structures and bars separating the animals from visitors. Now the experience is a green meander from exhibit to exhibit. World class zoo! Bonus...outdoor summer concerts. Our personal fav is Portland's Pink Martini, seen them multiple times there!
