There's great access to the Murrumbidgee River, plenty of grassed, shady spots for a picnic, sheltered barbecue areas, a playground and seats to sit and watch the world go by

Best spot in town for a BBQ and dip in the Murrumbidgee River in hot Wagga Summer. Very Strong current; ideal for floating down stream!

Voted #9 in Australia's Top 10 Beaches, Wagga Beach is located on the banks of the Murrumbidgee (Murrumbidjeri) River just a 10 minute car ride from Lake Albert. Wagga Beach is a great place to cool off or have a BBQ.

Great place for a BBQ picnic and a swim! Nice place to cool off!! Please be aware that this is an open water river and can have quite a strong current if your not a strong swimmer!!
