The less ripped-off and less touristy version of Jalan Alor. Try Ipoh Yong Tau Foo, the far end stall. Fruit salad with peanut sauce at the opposite stall and seafood galore at Maharani stall sell the best fried squid and bamboo lala kam heong. Come at night. If you're lucky there's buskers playing live music.
