Catch the ferry from Patriots Point or off East Bank downtown. Great way to get on the water and learn some local and national history where the Civil War started.

So...you can't drive there. You have to take a tour boat to it. But of course, it was where the Civil War began....

An important historical landmark from revolutionary and civil wars. You can do day tours or cruise tour with meal. Total tour takes about 2.5 hours.

Civil War era fort. Tours start with boat ride out to fort, so fun way to ride a boat thru harbor and also see the fort. Educational and neat history tour.

Restaurante italiano
“It's a haul from the farm, but it's one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. Seafood meets Italian fine dining. Pair it with a visit to the beach at Isle of Palms so you can feel like you got your gas money's worth.”

Golf Course
“Rated the 2nd best course in Charleston: If you're looking for a great course to test your skills, this is it; the 18th is a 501-yard par 5 hole :)”

Cine
“When the weather isn't beach and downtown friendly, we will go to the movies a Town Center in Mt. Pleasant. Town Center is also a beautiful shopping area with restaurants. It is not a mall which is a good thing in our opinion!”

Lighthouse
“A great place to see and it is beautiful. Charleston Light on Sullivan's Island, South Carolina, which is the northern entrance to Charleston Harbor, was built to replace the defunct Morris Island Light on Morris Island”

Restaurante
“Located inside theLinks clubhouse, Huey’s offer a casual atmospherewhere southern staples and Lowcountry comfort farearealwaysfeatured. Overlooking the Links Course, a full bar serves cocktails, wine and beer. Save room for one of our crafted milkshakes made fresh for the kiddies, or specialty spiked flavors for mom or dad. Ask your server about the local legend of Huey - the infamous Isle of Palms resident goose. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and lounge. Walk-ins welcome, large parties reservations preferred”
