There are not many places left like this in Lisbon anymore. Gávea do Mar is a remnant from Lisbon´s past: an old style “Cervejaria” (Portuguese Beer House), with large stone arches inside and a high ceiling. The food, the owner and the waiters have been the same for decades, almost exactly with the same menu and special atmosphere. A memory of old Lisbon: traditional, warm, unpretentious.
