This is a wonderful family activity - lots to learn about NZ army history, with many artifacts and displays. Will not disappoint! Fun for kids to climb around on top of the several tanks positioned outside as well, which is free!

Interesting museum that showcases NZ's military history. Display of weapons, war memorabilia, military vehicles, medals, etc. Good cafe and souvenir shop, too.
