Great place for a hike in nature. Kayaks can also be launched here as well. Beware of the differences between high tides and low tides. SSI has some of the biggest differences between tides on the east coast.

“Born of friendship, a love of great food, and the spirit of service. Their friendship formed almost a decade ago, but it would be a few years before Palmer Fortune and Chef JB Belechak would realize the dream of combining JB's southern culinary magic with Palmer's notion of relaxation and easy conversation in the seaside Village of St. Simon's. From both men come a spirit of service, a passion for excellence, and the idea that life and food should be thoroughly enjoyed. That’s why everything from the amazing ground sausage to the famous tomato jam is crafted in-house daily from the freshest local and regional ingredients. Get there early - there's always a line!
