This place is a 2 hour hike away from Tübingen - 4 hour round trip, if you decide to hike back. Alternatively, there is a bus, which brings you quickly back into town. During your hike you will pass Tübingen's pictoresque old town, a traditional German Biergarten, strawberry fields (in late spring, early summer) and a quiet forest. The biergarten is beautifully located next to a little farm. There, you can stop for a refreshing beverage or for an entire German lunch or dinner. The strawberry fields are located next to the biergarten and usually open in Mai and June. For a relatively small price you get to pick your own strawberries, at least 2 kilos though. So take that into account in case you wish to do that during your hike.

Direkt vom Grundstück sieht man die Kapelle auf dem Berg zwischen dem Ammer- und dem Neckartal. Vor dort hat man eine tolle Aussicht in beide Täler.
