There is a short movie showing the time lapse development of SHANGHAI that is a cool understanding of the city. Also there is a super structure museum to view before entering the view place at the top of the tower. It’s one of the tallest buildings in the world and worth the visit. I take every guest here that visits

It costs approx RMB 180 per person but is well worth the money on a clear day (& low pollution). Go early to avoid the crowds. To get there take the route 71 trolley bus that runs under the Yan An elevated road to its terminus on the Bund (RMB 2 per person). Then cross the road to the river's edge and take a ferry (RMB 2 per person) to the other side of the river. Then follow your nose until you get to the base of the Dragon's Tail (affectionate name for the shanghai Tower)
