The joint efforts and goodwill of the City Council and Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza have combined to provide a space at Sant Feliu de Guíxols to display the private collection of this important private collector in the summer months. There are Thyssen Museums in Madrid and Malaga”

“I worked here four summer seasons when I was a teenager and it is my cousin's restaurant. It's opened from Easter term until mid September. It's semi hidden but you can find it following the Ridaura river estuary at one end of Platja d'Aro beach. My cousin Ofelia is the creative cook behind the dishes and since it was opened back in 1985 has maintained a faithful local and overseas clientele. There is a competitive priced menu that changes every day with local produced and you can eat at la carte as well. Excellent selection of wines.”
