Amazing (free) museum, focusing on the history of people's rights. Fun, interactive displays (great for kids!) and interesting topics. Their short term exhibits are always brilliant. Nice cafe too.

Former Edwardian pumping station on the banks of the River Irwell housing displays on local and national working-class life. Visit the Left Bank Cafe and gift shop.
