Long-running (since the 1920s), this neighborhood towny bar has awesome wings and french dips.

400 Chester Avenue (10 Minute Walk) A local’s joint – truly. If you ask anyone from Eastport what the best pub is – they’ll say “Davis’” – and then they’ll look at you strange for even asking that question. Menu is straight forward but spot‐on, walls are paneled, and beers are cold. Was featured on Diners, Drive‐Ins, and Dives. Food is consistent, and crowd is decidedly local. Crabcake is exceedingly good. Don’t let the rough exterior (or interior for that matter) fool you.

Davis’ Pub (corner of 4th and Chester) Locals hangout. Good food, small pub menu but the daily specials are the best, friendly atmosphere.Open 11am – 2am. Outdoor seating. Dog friendly. Menu attached. WALKABLE
