Located on the narrow stone alley that threads its way through Burak, just uphill from the Riva, 'Granny's Cafe' is everything you might want from a cake shop, with muffins, brownies and thick slices of torte backed up by good quality coffee. There's a lot of local-recipe fare here too, with traditional biscuits like Hforski koloč ('Hvar cake' –a melt-in-the-mouth affair with a mild citrus flavour) piled up on the display counter.

Really good traditionaly baked Hvar cakes. You should try this if you like cakes and to be honest, who doesn`t like them?! :)
