You can have nice long walks in the park, heading towards Riehen or Lörrach, along the river Wiese or through the forest. There is also an animal park.

The biggest park/nature in the city of Basel, easy to get too with public transport and enjoy quietness, greens and the Wiesse river.

This is one of my favorite spots in Basel on spring or summer days. It is a great place to go to escape the city. You can walk or bike far along the wooded shores of the Wiese, all the way to Stetten, Germany.

A nice petting zoo and the park/forest by the river Wiese. Very close to the center and a nice spot for nature walking.
