The "shittiest bar" (as a concept) established by film director Aki Kaurismäki. Do not expect good customer service, but the atmosphere will make up for it.

Famous finnis director Kaurismäkis creation. Kafe Mockba is a memorial for the era of stagnation in the middle of Helsinki. This straightforward soviet-styled bar offers an ascetic but yet cosy ambiance and a genuine soviet experience.

If you really want to experience the Kaurismäki-Finland, this is definitely the place to go! The bar that is owned by the Kaurismäki brothers is right next to their other bar Corona, that is definitely more hip and happening.
