Utrecht is a Beautiful City and the landscape changes very quickly as you move around it, from city to open farmland. Great for cyclists! Full of places to eat and things to see. Amsterdam is 27 minutes away by Inter-city train and runs till late. Just go out and see it for yourself, a great way to see the city is by bicycle, lookout for bike rentals whilst your in town.

I just love Utrecht centrum. Most easy is to go there by tram, start up tripadvisor or google maps and type in whatever you are looking for.

We love Utrecht: it’s the nearest bigger city, it's beautiful, not as touristic as Amsterdam and has some great museums.
