Acerca de este lugar
Central Smoke is where Central Texas smokehouse BBQ meets Louisiana Viet-Cajun style food. We cook low and slow, Texas style and pair that with Cajun and Southeast Asian cuisines. Prime beef brisket, pork spareribs, chicken and more come off our custom built smoker daily. These smoky flavors are built upon with items like our garlic Thai chili oil smoked chicken wings, crispy Vietnamese pork belly with grits, or yellow curry with char-grilled tomato and okra served with brisket burnt ends. We also offer traditional Texas BBQ platters with prime brisket, pork spareribs, pulled pork, and Texas toast served with pickles, fresh onion and a choice of sides including kimchi macaroni salad and smoked onion mac and cheese. You can add smoked chicken or grilled steak to your platters. Our bar focuses on whiskey (150+), beer (30+), and cocktails. We try and offer simple drinks that pair well with our food, and also offer some smoke, fire, and entertainment. Our beers lean European since these beers were built for BBQ, but we also try to provide beers from around the country that we think are unique and pair well with our foods.

Nice place for those who eat meat. For the rest of us - stay away :-)

“Exceptional modern French cuisine for foodies. L’Oursin glows with pendant lights and Parisian signs, in an unfussy room whose populated bar and open kitchen crook an alluring finger from the street. Chef and co-owner J. J. Proville grew up mostly in France and knows its subtleties, in dishes like a fathomless bouillabaisse with Northwest shellfish under a pastry crust or a tartine of house-smoked bacon with greens on charred brioche. Great wine selectino, but the cocktail list is an equal star. The Monday night–only burger and $5 “wine roulette” are worth a trip, and happen only at the bar. Central District. Somewhat walkable.”
