A very nice place, with a view over the bridge of Alexander the third and the Invalides with it's dome of gold! It is an ares where you can take a nice pleasant walk, and even lay down if it's sunny!
On the north front of Les Invalides Hardouin-Mansart's chapel dome is large enough to dominate the long façade, yet harmonizes with Bruant's door under an arched pediment. To the north, the courtyard (cour d'honneur) is extended by a wide public esplanade.
Linking the Alexandre III bridge at the Invalides hotel, this large open plaza, lined with an avenue of lime trees, offers magnificent views on some of the most beautiful monuments of Paris. Many groups of friends come here to play football or Frisbee.
