ART Station Contemporary Arts Center and Theatre Company, a multi-disciplinary arts center, is located in the historic Trolley Car Barn built by the Georgia Railway and Power Company in 1913. ART Station hosts shows and gallery events throughout the year, including the infamous Tour of Southern Ghosts each year in October.

This historic Trolley Car Barn was renovated into a contemporary arts center. Originally built by the Georgia Railway and Power Company in 1913--the building served as a terminus for the trolley car system from Atlanta to Stone Mountain which was called the Atlanta Rapid Transit (thus the ART in the ART Station name). Now renovated into a multi-disciplinary arts center, it is home to its own professional Equity Theatre Company producing new plays, musicals and classics, 5 art galleries, a fine crafts gift shop, a gift shop dedicated to Southern food and culture, classrooms, production and administrative space, and a cabaret theatre presenting Atlanta’s music legends.
