We absolutely loved our stay at this amazing A-Frame cabin. It was beautifully designed, clean, comfortable and close to town. Nicole was a wonderful host who was both helpful and kind. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for the perfect mountain getaway.

Charming and unique 3-level cabin built on a steep hillside that feels very private and secluded. Very roomy for our party of 6. The king size beds were very comfortable, cabin was well furnished. Loved that theatre room! Living room is very inviting gathering place with nice wood fireplace. Lot’s of outdoor deck space to hang out, too. Easier to find home from lower cul-de-sac entrance. Use upper driveway entrance from highway to avoid stairs but may be intimidating with steep and curvy turns. Shelley is an excellent and communicative host. Great location only a 5 min drive from town.

This Airbnb stay was nothing short of an elemental battle between man and nature. The wind wasn’t just strong—it was an unstoppable, roaring force that dominated the landscape, howling like a tempest with no end. It rattled the walls, screamed through the night, and sent anything not tied down hurtling into oblivion. Stepping outside was an act of defiance, bracing against gusts that threatened to sweep you away, as if the very air had come alive with a fury of its own. It was raw, untamed, and absolutely exhilarating. If you crave the thrill of nature’s power in its purest, most relentless form, this is the place for you. An experience I will never forget!

Had a great time at this cabin with our toddler. The location is close to town, and a couple restaurants are right across the street. The hot tub was excellent! We hope to stay again soon!

This was the best bang for your buck Airbnb in idyllwild. We had a group of 8, every couple had their own room, the common areas were spacious, the kitchen was great, and the hot tub was awesome. We also used the projector to watch a movie. Don’t hesitate on staying here.

Our family of three, including a very mobile 11-month-old, had an absolutely wonderful stay in this modernized cabin near Idyllwild! The first night we had some fun rummaging through the record collection and had ourselves a little dance party to Dark Side of the Moon in the kitchen. In the morning we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and headed into town. We explored the shops, checked out a local musician, and grabbed a bite to eat at Leanna’s Idyll Awhile Bistro. She has awesome Pear Cider and Mulled Wine! We headed back to the cabin after a few hours out, flipped on the wall heaters to warm up a bit, and recorded a few musical numbers using a nice little 3/4 guitar that we found upstairs. We got the baby to bed, put on a show (lots of services included on the TV), then jumped in to the hot tub for a soak - I recommend the recliner edge with the foot jets! We wrapped the night with Scrabble in the loft. Checkout was easy and Astrid’s communication was great! We’ll be back:)

Sandra’s place is amazing. It’s perfectly located giving you easy access to town as well as multiple trails for hiking. The hot tub is great, fireplace is easy to use…. The place is perfect. She’s also thought of everything. From leaving flashlights, head lamps, dog poop bags, lint rollers… anything you need, it’s there. I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

Loved Josh & Tammi's cabin. Have stayed here twice and it's incredibly peaceful and spacious. The wood stove is perfect for chilly mornings and evenings. The hot tub has the most incredible views of the stars. Only 10 minutes from town and trails. Perfect getaway cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Gary’s cabin in Idyllwild! The home was clean and exactly how it is pictured. Gary was very proactive with giving us information and instructions and also provided a water bowl and blanket for our pup! I appreciate how detail oriented Gary is and it was the perfect weekend getaway. Hope to be back again soon!

It was a very comfortable stay; everything we needed was there for us. Jay gave us detailed information about what we could do and where to go. We will stay at the place again!!

Spacious. Clean. Walkable to town and playground. Played board games we brought on the patio with my daughter. Definitely would stay here again. Beds were comfy. It was a perfect long weekend getaway for our family of 4.

Our stay was great! The cabin was clean, cozy, comfortable, well maintained and it had all the necessary amenities. It was also close to the city center which was nice!

We had a lovely romantic getaway at Lisa and Ryan's property! The area was very cute and cozy so we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The beautiful and peaceful view from the bedroom and patio really brought our experience to the next level, and also made it a fun time for our pup with all the squirrel watching she did. We will definitely recommend this property to our friends and family and would love to stay here again!

We had a lovely girls’ weekend at Paul and Melanie’s beautiful home! The space was inviting and warm — with plenty of room to gather comfortably in the kitchen, living room and hot tub! The hosts were responsive and kind! We couldn’t have asked for better weekend retreat!

My family and I had a relaxing getaway with the help of the Plumlee family’s beautiful treetop cabin. It was just as described if not better, instructions and rules were easy to follow, cabin had ample space, everything needed for a comfortable stay (we used the kitchen quite a bit!), and the ambiance of surrounding nature, to name the least. Michael and Janelle were helpful with any inquiries we had, and promptly! That makes the world of difference when you’re in an unfamiliar place and have a few questions. We brought along our beloved fur baby as well and definitely felt like the home was dog friendly inside and out. The town is adorable and fun to explore, and locals are friendly. We can’t wait to return, this treetop getaway is highly recommended by us!

This stay was absolutely the best place to enjoy a weekend with friends. The house was even better than the photos. Beyond the picture perfect views and beautifully curated interior, the host, Alex, was incredible. He was understanding, communicative, responsive, and so so supportive with all of our concerns with the weather conditions leading up to our stay. I hope to return again! My group could not stop saying that we hope this Airbnb is available for many years to come because we will absolutely be back if it is!

Our friend group had a wonderful weekend getaway. There was a big snowstorm the day before, but the host gave clear instructions and roads were cleared quickly. It made for a beautiful winter wonderland. We walked the neighborhood, cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, lounged around, played games, and soaked in the hot tub. Such a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay, and very comfortable for our group of 4 adults. Thank you!

This was my first visit to Idyllwild and I looked at a lot of cabins before picking the Clarity Cabin - and, I’m so happy I made the perfect choice! The welcome message and video made it super easy to find and the cabin is so well appointed. Every detail - from the comfy robes to towels to eco products from their Wildland store in town - you feel like a VIP guest. The location is surrounded by trees but is a 3 min drive to amazing espresso at Alpaca and the main village area. Looking forward to another visit!

What a gem. The layout of the house is really great with the dining, kitchen and living room open with an awesome wood burning fireplace. There are 2 decks, the upper deck opens out from the dining room. The views from there are incredible with comfy couches to sit and take in the views. The lower deck has a hot tub and outdoor fire pit which is a nice touch. The house was very, very clean. Comfy bed, soft linens, nice towels and lots of cozy blankets. Kitchen has really nice glasses, mugs, dishes, cookware, etc. Great location, only a short drive to the little downtown area and close to many great hiking trails. I also appreciate that the checkout instructions were simple and easy. We will absolutely be back, one of our favorite cabins ever!

This was our second time staying at Linda’s place and it did not disappoint again. Everything you need is there. Beautiful surroundings make you feel like you’re in a tree house and this time we were able to use the outdoor fire pit (last time it was covered in snow) which was definitely a highlight. Hands down best Airbnb in Idyllwild.

Paul's house was so cozy, we loved using the provided wood to make a fire in the wood stove. In spite of the frigid outdoor temps we were quite warm and comfy. The kitchen was clean, well equipped, and we enjoyed having a rapid boil tea pot. Also loved the large windows. We would love to return.

The home is beautiful, as well as the area around it, and very peaceful (as pictured, although the pictures don't do it justice). The house was very comfortable and had nice finishing touches that made it homey. We appreciated having 2 full bathrooms, especially having one upstairs. Geoff was very accommodating, responsive, and very patient with all of our questions. We hope to return to this place the next time we're in Idyllwild.
