This cottage has great proportions with a large lounge and kitchen area. The smaller separate bedroom is lovely too with a bath (only big enough for one person) and toilet in the room. We found the dappled light in both bedroom and living are absolutely calming, adding to the relaxing atmosphere. The outside shower is hot and extremely enjoyable.

After week's of travel in Botswana with our 10 year old girls, Chris's bungalow and space was a mini oasis for our visit to Cape Town. The glorious setting, fabulous antiques, art, excellent kitchen, outdoor showers, wood-fired hot tub and having a million places to perch and just relax was near perfection. We were also so grateful to Chris for stocking the place with fresh fruit and other fabulous supplies that we didn't even really need to go out for food for a few days. We would recommend any of Chris's spaces to anyone who wants a home away from home with extra care, beauty and elegance.

Firstly, the pictures do not do this darling of a house justice! It is immaculate. We came for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and what a lovely time it is. Close enough to the beach and vibey places, but secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace serenity of the place. Karen was an amazing host! Very communicative, quick to respond and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay, absolutely ideal holiday destination. Facilities are immaculate and of high quality. This has been our best coastal location ever and will HIGHLY recommend this facility. We visited Swakop with our parents and their little sausage dog. The house is ideally located in a quiet street, yet close to everything you need. The communal space was great to spend time together. The rooms are large and each with ensuite, gave everyone privacy too. The house is well equipped. Great bbq area. Secure parking garages. We wanted for nothing. Fenya was always very quick to respond to any messages. Thank you. We very much enjoyed our stay. We can highly recommend this wonderful holiday home.

What an awesome few days we had at Shani’s place , truly magical to wake up on the beach, the bungalow is very comfortable and has everything you need , the jacuzzi was an extra bonus , we will be back here as soon as we can 😊

Had a great stay with my family at Beata’s beach cottage! Peaceful and Friendly. A few steps and we were at the beach! My daughter was thrilled! Beata is a great host and her place was perfect for a family escape. Beata is always there when you need her but also gives you space to enjoy the space in peace. We truly appreciated her approach to hosting. Kommetjie is a hidden gem!

Charming little bungalow in a beautiful location set just back from the beach up an unmade road and with the most welcoming hosts who also provided us with a delicious braai one evening (extra cost). Super quiet and relaxing, and very comfortable beds.

Situated what seems like in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful! The pool is perfect to enjoy after a day of tanning & the place is beautiful, so well decorated & has everything you may need. PS the sourdough bread Simon’s son bakes is an absolute must try!! Thanks Simon we will be back.

Das Ferienhaus besticht durch einen einmaligen Panoramablick. Man schläft mit dem Geräusch der Wellen ein und wacht mit ihnen auf. Das Anwesen besitzt einen besonderen Charakter und absolute Atmosphäre - nicht zuletzt durch die vielen künstlerisch wertvollen Bilder. Sally war eine hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die jederzeit erreichbar war.

Natasha’s place was absolute heaven and the 3km bumpy dirt road to get there was perfectly manageable in our Kwid. And well worth the magical peaceful space. Thank you.

Chanel and Wendy have always been very friendly and totally helpful. We had a wonderful stay out there. Kommetjie is a perfect location between all the natural beauties south and the laidback and cool bars, restaurants and markets around Noordhoek. Lots of good waves all around you so you are pretty flexible with different winds :) Thanks a lot

Christine ha heel goed omschreven hoe we bij het huisje konden komen en hoe we het toegangshek en het huisje binnen konden komen. de volgende dag hebben we elkaar ontmoet en ze heeft met de handige kaart dingen verteld en aanbevolen. ook gaf ze een hele belangrijke tip voor de Robberg hike!
