It still serves the usual signature egg dishes, daytime cocktails and cold brew coffee. Most exciting are the newly-concocted Nordic Lights dishes, available from 11am onwards. They've also just launched their #SaturdaySocialClub, which combines DIY cocktails with Scandinavian bites and laidback tunes every Saturday from 5pm. For some Japanese/French desserts, there’s lots to choose from at Gute Patisserie.

To start off, Rasayana is a vegan restaurant, but it’s more than just an ordinary vegan restaurant. The folks at this pretty Phrom Phong hideaway have taken vegan eating even further. Their menu is crafted of entirely raw vegan foods.
“Raw vegan” is as straightforward as it sounds. The food is vegan, meaning it contains absolutely no animal products whatsoever and it’s also raw, meaning that no food can be heated above 48 degree Celcius. So, most of the dishes are served cold or at room temperature.

Behind the glass shop front there are half-a-dozen basic wooden tables, a wall in blood red and polished concrete floors. A personal selection of pictures and records are displayed around the room, and if you come back often enough and the owners will tell you the stories behind them. The bar also features printed coasters with a whole different bunch of meanings for ‘WTF’ (apart from the most obvious). On the two floors above lies gallery space hosting unusual art displays changing on a monthly basis.

Located in the Phrom Phong area of Sukhumvit you will find people jogging and practicing yoga, keep fit, volleyball, basketball, sepak takraw skateboarding and children playing on one of two separate playgrounds. Built in 1992, this is quite a compact Bangkok park but the space has been maximised. There is a central lake with grass and trees surrounding it, sports facilities towards the back end of the park and a running track on the periphery. Modern art sculptures are dotted around too.
