Our absolute favourite restaurant in Mudgee. This is fine dining at a very reasonable price. Don't quote me but a degustation of 7 courses $85 (food only). Great atmosphere, food and friendly staff just a few minutes from our place. You usually have to book well in advance to get a spot here.

Alby and Esther's is a rustic little coffee shop y day and wine bar by night, hidden from view down a cobblestone path, in Market Street just across the road from the Anglican church. They have great coffee and although they don't have a huge selection of lunch time meals, what they do have is very good. In the evening on weekends, the place is transformed into a wine bar with lots of yummy tapas to choose from.

The Colonial Inn Museum has a broad range of items in its collection, principally from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and with many items of Australian manufacture. The collection contains circa 60,000 items displayed in several buildings on site which include a mid-nineteenth century hotel, an early twentieth century church, and a replica of a slab hut. Open from Monday to Friday.
