Lovely sand beach. Shallows for children as well as a deep, jump off point at the far end. Lounges and umbrellas are provided on site for a fee. Space for active sports is available beyond the umbrellas. An adjacent restaurant serves fish, meze, and drinks.

Walk within Famagusta's (intentionally) dry moat and wonder at the heights of the walls built centuries ago. Recently revived and furnished, the moat path connects to the main road near both the New Gate (north) and Sea Gate (south). On foot, one can also descend the stairs from near the Ravelin Gate and bridge.
Benches, flower beds, a walking path, and great pines are distributed along the route.

Table reservations are common and pervasive for the late night. Go early or make your reservation the day before.

It has comfortable seating, a view of the grand cathedral, and an opportunity to catch the sunset if you choose the right spot.
