Victoria's is our favorite Italian place to eat. Cheesy bread is delicious and the Lasagna Rolls are the best you could imagine!

Note: the Tea Cafe that may appear on maps near our house (Alameda and 12th) is closed and will not re-open. The other location is on Campus Corner and is worth the parking! The tea is delicious (I get black peach iced tea) and the fried rice and 'Chow Fun' are our favorites!

Have you ever eaten at Cane's? Don't miss your chance. Yes, it's just fast food chicken fingers but it is the best fast food chicken fingers! Eat it while it's hot. Much better to eat it there than take home!

Parks & Nature

We like Sutton because it is close to town but still very woodsy. There is a trail (mountain bikes allowed) that will loop you around the lake and back. It is a great hike with some of the greenest (like Alice in Wonderland green!) grass in some places. Plenty of trails that lead off and plenty of places to put up a hammock and chill for a while. Geocach while you're there!

Drinks & Nightlife

This one was hard to categorize: Blu is a nice bar and restaurant. They have a great patio (covered or not). Great brunch and bellinis/mimosas/bloody mary bar on weekends.

The Library is our favorite! It is very cozy inside (not meaning small but friendly) and has the best patio! The waitresses are amazing. The best part is it's a Good Life bar (Good Life Establishments: The Brewhouse, Blu, The Library, Jax, Blackbird, and the Bird's Nest) and has $2 well drinks and $3 well doubles all the time. No need to wait for happy hour. But the library has cheap pizza and nachos everyday from 3-6. Win win!

Arts & Culture

Downtown Main Street has a lot to offer. Look for the Art Walk (2nd Friday of the month). You'll see many art galleries, vintage furniture, etc. And plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

Entertainment & Activities

Budget movie theater. Owned by a very nice family. Prices are low- movies are a bit older than normal theaters but sometimes not much. Concessions are cheap and last time I went, popcorn and drink refills were 0.25 cents. Can't beat that!
