Mirror Lake is just a little ways downstream from Blanchard Springs Caverns. Blanchard Springss and Mirror Lake trail is one of the shorter hikes, but a lot of beauty is packed into 1.7 miles. As far as lakes go, Mirror Lake is tiny. It’s only three acres, but it may just be the prettiest three acres in the Natural State. The dam, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, provides a beautiful two-tiered waterfall that’s absolutely stunning. In addition to being a breathtakingly beautiful spot, the lake is also a rainbow trout haven. It’s pretty much the prettiest place in Arkansas to spend an afternoon.

Sightseeing

881 Culp Rd, Calico Rock, AR 72519 - the number of the road is 53, but I never saw a sign. You turn right off Highway 5 after you cross over the bridge. You will see a church on the corner. Proceed a couple of miles down the road and on the right you will see flat rocks and a couple of large rocks You will have to keep an eye out for them because it's easy to miss. It's a short very walk to the bluff overlooking the White River. Spectacular views!
