This is an extremely pleasant restaurant in one of the few areas of South Beach where residents can dine without feeling as though they're part of some gigantic tour group. The room is light, airy, and relaxing. The waitstaff is friendly and solid. The owner is on hand to make sure things run smoothly. Now for the bad news: The food is no better than what you'd find at the tourist traps of Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road, meaning a bland array of cuisine that neither impresses nor offends. Still there are some high points on the hit-and-miss menu: bacon-wrapped meat loaf; churrasco steak; a heckuva good hamburger; and one of the better tiramisus in town. Don't think bistro, think diner -- but a very nice diner geared to locals.

South Pointe Park has walking paths, a food stand, a lovely grassy area and tremendous 360 degree ocean views. It's a local park as well as a beach. Kids large and small enjoy the miniature water park here - it's a great way to cool off. There is also a dog park and a tot lot nearby. This beach is popular for film crews and photo shoots, so don't be surprised if you show up and find a spectacle on site.
Enjoy South Pointe Park's contemporary art sculptures, the sight of the cruise ships sailing past, and the clear water at this beautifully maintained park and beach area.

Sightseeing
The Miami Beach Boardwalk is a must-see when visiting the Miami, Florida area. It is a beautiful and scenic pathway that stretches from the southern point of South Beach northward for approximately 40 blocks. You have beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean on one side and views of lavish South Beach hotels and condos on the other.
The boardwalk is sometimes referred to as the South Beach Boardwalk since much of it spans through the hottest destinations on South Beach. There are plenty of places to stop and rest or to get a drink and a bite to eat. Feel free to walk or jog along the path and enjoy the beauty of South Beach. NOTE: No bikes are allowed north of 21st street. Most of the path south of 21st street is bike friendly.
You can easily access the famous "Lincoln Road" pedestrian mall. Lincoln Road (which runs East and West) terminates at the boardwalk. Just north of Washington Avenue (one block west of the boardwalk), Lincoln road turns into a pedestrian mall with dozens of shops and restaurants that runs for 10 blocks or so.
The Miami Boardwalk is one of the most popular and scenic destinations for all Miami and Miami Beach visitors. However, it is also enjoyed equally by the locals.
