It's a decent 6 mile loop. Quite strenuous especially if you take the trail on the right side. I normally like to take that route because it's less crowded due to it begin a little more difficult because there's more steeper sections as oppose to the regular trail that zigzags a lot. 6-7am in the morning, you'll be looking at a .5-1 mile pre-hike from the parking area to the beginning of the trail.
