A short drive to Norfolk, this is one of our favorite restaurants. It used to be a church. There are some interesting old townhouses around work a walking tour.

Great place for kids - all you can eat buffet with good sushi, chinese food, pho and noodles on hibachi. They have some okay desserts that kids like.

If you love donuts or pastries, you MUST stop by Duck Donuts, originated from Duck, North Carolina. Kids (and I) love watching the donuts made and come down the assembly. Fresh and delicious all the time. It's also right by the Starbucks right next to a public garage though it's walking distance from the condo.

Drinks & Nightlife
I recommend sitting outside around the fire pits and take in the activity by Neptune park where there are usually live performances during the summer. There are also some big white rocking chairs (if you can get a seat) to watch the sunset/sunrise.

Great place if you like to hike or have a little bit of quiet with nature. There is usually a $5 fee to get in at the gate. There are two entrances for the park side and one for the beach. There are limited bike trails as well. TIP: Pack bug repellent in the summer.

My daughter and I love the dolphin and whale tours. There is nothing like seeing animals free and in their natural environment. There are several tours a day. You can sometimes find coupons online. Their boat staff work for tips so may want to make sure you have some cash for that.

Fun aquarium for the kids. There are seals swimming in a big tank outside, stingray petting tanks, eateries, an IMAX theater and many tanks. There are dolphin tours in the summer and whale tours in the winter.
