Food Scene
I tried to list the ones close to the AirBNB as well as some of my personal favorites. There are many places to eat in Nashville, and most of them are great.
Hattie B's is mediocre at best. I would not waste time standing in line for chicken that is good, but not great. I say this about Biscuit Love as well. It's just biscuits....Why stand in line and waste your valuable vacation time where there are SO many other places you can go? But it's your choice. That is simply my own personal opinion.
My FAVORITE place in town. I love the people behind the counter. You can walk here from the AirBNB if you want. Just be careful crossing West End Ave.

Best hotdogs in town- 10+ years and counting. There are 3 people inside this VW van in a kitchen that is 72sf. You will get a TERRIFIC hotdog like you have never had before. You want to go there. Go ahead and do it!

Mr. Bolton Mathews was Mr. Prince's fry cook, so it is considered one of the two original hot chicken shacks (the other on being Prince's). Hot chicken was invented in Nashville in the 1930s and has been around - especially in the Black community - for decades. If you go to Bolton's start with the light mild or mild. It just might be enough for you....

Only Roberts will have the music you want to hear in Music City. Please bring folding money to TIP THE BAND. There is live music from 11 am - 2 am daily, and the way the bands make money in this town is through YOUR TIPS. Please do not leave without tipping. Thank you in advance, and enjoy the wonderful music at Roberts! (21+ after 6 pm, but kids can go in from 11 am - 6 pm)

GREAT food, so says the NY Times. Local and farm fresh. Really great place with a fun bar and lots of friendly people. Just off Printer's Alley and a wonderful place to stumble upon. Friendly bartenders and sometimes there is live music.

This is the hill just behind my house. It's the tallest point in the area, and you can see for miles. A short but sorta strenuous walk due north from my back yard will take you there. Take your camera and enjoy seeing all of Nashville, and beyond!

I really enjoy this place. Check out the Website for Cheekwood, but it's really a lovely place. The mansion and the grounds are beautiful, and it's a great place to take friends and get photos.

This is very close to the house. You can walk there, really. Lovely place, especially if there is something going on like a festival or live music. Nashville usually celebrates Earth Day here. Go inside the Parthenon if you have time. It's cool. But the gardens and fields are great too. Lovely.

I love the Nashville Zoo. There is so much to do, and there are even animals! Check it out, but I take my kids there a bunch. Lots of fun and tons to do. Great playground too!
