Market of Choice on Willamette has a wonderful little bakery and a little known upstairs area with private tables. They are a large grocery store akin to Whole Foods, with a fantastic fresh salad bar, hot foods, burritos, fresh deli items and prepared dishes. Grab a bowl of soup and some crusty bread and catch up with friends in the beautiful space. There's also a fireplace and some tables outside which are lovely in the warmer weather.

Love Pho? That classic spicy, brothy, bath of deliciousness that were one small enough one might crawl into the bowl and splash around inside joyously. Well, THIS is the best place in town for it. And we always wonder why the place isn't packed!!! They also have other Chinese, Vietnamese dishes on the menu. The space is casual and open and a great place for lunch. It closes early-ish so we suggest getting it to go and reheating for dinner in our BnB kitchenette. A bowl of pho and a Netflix movie. #Bestlifeever

Party Restaurant offers seasonal dishes with locally sourced ingredients that are made to order. Friendly market is a small community grocery store and offer some prepared items you can pick up some snacks and drinks for a picnic in a local park. We suggest Washington Park. It's beautiful, dog friendly and a great place to lay on a blanket or take the kids and play in the playground.

This little spot is a wonderful and special place to visit. The building is gorgeous and the museum hosts many fantastic displays of local history including NW peoples, animals, botany and geology and artifacts including the worlds oldest shoes! We love this sort of thing! It's located on the U of O campus as well. We walked around alone and it took us about an hour and a half. Well worth it.

The building is gorgeous and the museum hosts many fantastic displays of local history including NW peoples, animals, botany and geology and artifacts including the worlds oldest shoes! We love this sort of thing! It's located on the U of O campus as well. We walked around alone and it took us about an hour and a half. Well worth it.

A superb small natural foods market that has an amazing selection of GF, vegan, vegetarian and whole foods. Their salad bar and hot bar is the best in town. I love supporting this local market that has a great selection of natural foods and hasn't been beaten out by the big guys. It's a grab and go sort of place, there are no tables to eat at.

Pool, Ping Pong and Giant Jenga. That's all you really need to know. Oh...and the onion rings. Yasssss! This is a fun place to grab a beer, grab a bite and play some games. It's a local spot.
