The iconic fountain of Geneva, a must see! This 13 minute walk is lovely, through the town of Geneva. For people that like walking there are many strolls, walks and hikes along the shores of the lake. Downstream is the English Gardens also a very nice place to see when the weather is nice

Up the stairs and through the cobble stone roads you get to the medieval center of Geneva. It has been there for a very long time and the tower give an exceptional view, for 5 francs you can climb up there and view life as religious. Check website for opening hours.

I go often to Luigia. 3 minute walk from the apartment. They have great pizza at a regular price for Geneva. They also have "Fancy" pizzas that are a bit more expensive and get vertical. Something to try! Service has been good. This old car garage has been converted into a fun dining experience.

Bill and Hillary Clinton went to this restaurant during one of their visit. Prices are higher than most restaurants, it is due to their reputation, food and location.

Bill and Hillary Clinton went to this restaurant during one of their visit. Prices are higher than most restaurants, it is due to their reputation, food and location.
I go often to Marino. 8 minute walk from the apartment. They have great pizzas with the oven right at the entrance – see your food made. Prices are average. The service is excellent and waiters are friendly and attentive a rarity in Europe.

CLOSED after COVID, it looks like a new restaurant is being built, will keep you updated. This is the closest restaurant to the apartment, 3 minute walk; I go often to the Red Ox. Obviously they specialize in meats. Service is average, food is great. Prices are high, although they have 2 parts the fancy part on the left. You get table cloth, real napkins, better service and foods. And they have the right side with less fancy stuff and lower prices.

This mountain restaurant is situation on the Jura; it takes about 50 min to get there by car, no public transport. During the summer if you are trying to escape the heat this location is often cooler. They have good fondue and other Swiss foods. The view is spectacular on a sunny day. There are lots of short and long walks possible there. Prices are not expensive compared to most restaurants.

Been there many times, specializes in meats. For all you Americans that cannot get horse meat back home, guess what, you can get some USDA horse grown in America or Canada. They have many other dishes. Waiters are typical Swiss, but food is excellent. Also a great place to go eat before catching your plane.

I ate there twice and each time was pleasant and good food, they have freshly made pasta. It is a nice place to go before the airport. Getting across town can be challenging, but if you go and eat before going to the airport time is on your side.

Although I have not gone to this restaurant in a while I remember a fantastic fondue bourguignonne, that is boiling broth with your own basket to dip in meats and veggies to cook at your liking. Higher priced. 6 minute walk from the apartment.

Been there once upon a referral and it was very good. The inside is what you want to focus on, the outside does not do it justice. It is a restaurant to eat the typical Swiss foods like Fondue and Raclette and they do a good job with the fondue (the only dish I had during that visit).

I often go there to get bread in the morning for breakfast. They have a lot of patisserie too. A bit expensive but good quality. They also have a section where you can sit down, order your coffee and patisserie, even read the local newspaper.

If there is a large party downstairs you might see them playing the Alp Horn and sing traditional songs. The decor is also made to make you fee in a chalet deep inside Switzerland. Experience is great, food was ok.

It is quite a drive but when you see the lake side everything is pleasant..... This place is inside someone's home with a great garden and fantastic food for french prices, much less than in Geneva. Loved the service and the food.
