One of the best places to wait out the pass closure! I love the spinach enchiladas, while Dave is partial to the huge burritos.

This isn't your Starbucks. Eclectic tables, chairs, & even a couch. Games & books line the shelves. Gluten Free Goodies, as well as other treats await you while you wait for the pass to clear.

OK, Dru Bru is a brewery, not really a restaurant, but once you get a meal delivered from the Aardvark, it doesn't really get much better.

The epitome of a funky "food truck." The Coconut Curry in the Hurry Curry Bowl is amazing. Get your food "to go" & either bring it back to the haus, or head over to Dru Bru to enjoy it with a draft.

An utterly charming coffee shop, with quality food and great coffee. It has "kitschy" and kind of appealing souveirs Not many tables, but it's still my favorite place to meet up with friends.

The Salish Lodge Diningroom may cost around $250 a couple for a quiet, stellar meal. The Attic is a more relaxed setting, upstairs from the dinning room. They do not take reservations, & there are only 4 tables that are at the window. (The sun can be a bit blinding, they do have shades.) So here is the little known secret... Go to valet parking & immediately go to the attic. Ask if there is a window table available. They won't, so you ask to be put on the waiting list. THEN go out to the falls & relax, waiting to be called when a table is available. Dave recommends the Cheese Steak Sandwich. I love the Salmon & Beluga Lentil Salad. Warning, their potato chips are addictive.

This is THE restaurant for memorable life events, in the Northwest, such as a proposal, an anniversary, impressing the in-laws, milestone birthdays, the list goes on. The Brunch is a long standing family traditions, and during Mother's day reservations are coveted. It is a lovely, timeless lodge, perched overlooking the Snoqualmie Falls. We easily hit the $250 mark when we dine here. Locally sourced, wild harvest, on-sight bee hives, stellar wine selection, this is the epitome of fine dining. Make reservations at the window, and ask if Sandi is available to be your server.

This spectacular falls often roars with enough force to cause the overlook shelter to tremble. You may enjoy it from the overlook, the walk down to the base, or most comfortably, from Salish Lodge.

Parks & Nature

A family friendly hike along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River. It is about a mile, and brings you to the bottom of a remarkably beautiful falls. On a hot day, this hike cannot be beat! There is a $5 parking pass available at the Banksonhaus, or the local Visitor's Center.

A great family hike for older children, say 9 years or older. Wild flowers and berries on the slopes, and then a fun lake to skip stone at. You will then be able to go home, bragging that you have hiked a section of the Pacific Crest Trail.
