The ambiance here is fantastic because it's set on the riverside. lots of tour groups come here for dinner along the riverside so it's a bit touristy. Good for a romantic dinner by the river if it's not too crowded.

Just relocated to 172 street from downstairs. very reasonably priced food and drink. Portions are not huge, but so are the prices! Very friendly staff. You can get regional foods like amok and pad thai here as well as a range of other Western favorites. I like this place for a reasonably priced meal with friendly service.

A very popular and budget-friendly restaurant. The chicken cous cous here is surprisingly good ($3.50). I've had other things that weren't great like the sweet and sour chicken (way too sweet). Can't beat the prices here, however. They also have a lot of cheap things for breakfast.

There are dozens of lower budget food and drink places here if you're interested in a cheap bite or drink. There are actually dozens of places on the riverside, and along the way to the riverside also, so there's no shortage of places to eat and drink around the flat!

Cambodia's iconic traditional market. Much cleaner than other traditional markets, and more touristy (so you can get a lot of touristy things here too like tshirts, scarves, etc.). The building is an old art deco building and there's a full range of offerings in the market for Cambodian city dwellers as well as tourists.

This place is called Riel Brewing (not blue kiwi guesthouse) and they craft their own beers here and have a few different types. The beers are more expensive than the Angkor and Anchor draft beers you get all over town, starting at $2.50 per glass, but this is craft beer so it theoretically should be more interesting than the usual stuff!! I've not been able to find this place yet, but I'm told it's supposed to be here :/

There is now a regular and extremely affordable ferry that leaves from the Arey Ksat Ferry Dock to here which makes getting here very easy compared to before! This riverside walk is much less crowded and the demographics are different. It feels much more local and the view is looking back at Phnom Penh which is beautiful. Good for some exercise walking while the sun sets behind the city!
