Great place for breakfast, the biscuits are awesome. Nothing fancy, but fast and friendly. It's busy so get there early.

It's right up the road, but a private resort, so you will need reservations for dinner. Views are spectacular and this is definitely a special occasion place. I've heard their Sunday brunch is amazing. I believe they also do picnic lunches, so call and check them out.

Love the pizza and their wings. Pretty good Gluten Fremm pizza too! Good beer selection, and they have outdoor seating in good weather. Sometimes music as well. Same pizza recipe as the former Nick and Nate's on Main St.

Brewery that also has liquor. Good food, and have just opened up a space downstairs for music on the weekends. In good weather, there is an outdoor patio.

Not the easiest, and we have not had the opportunity to head out to this one, but there is wreckage from a plane crash in from the 80's (i think).

Off of Cove Creek Rd near 40. This a great drive to hopefully catch a glimpse of the Elk. Its not the smoothest drive and patience is the virtue. Great spots for a picnic. They close off most of the fields during the early summer for safety. You don't want to take the chance to get between Momma and her baby. Also in the fall is whats known as "rutting" season where the males are competing/challenging for mating.
