Sightseeing
This a very beautiful beach with a couple of local restaurants. This is also where the rockpools are. You can get there either by bus/taxi from Sai Kung and then a 30 min walk downhill, or you can take a boat taxi from Sai Kung Pier, this can be quite expensive however. The Sai Wan boat usually costs about $110 per person. Often people will bus/taxi and walk there, then get the boat back. You can book the boat back when you arrive in Sai Wan, there are two places that sell tickets. If the beach is very busy it is a good idea to book your ticket back to Sai Kung as soon as you arrive to reserve your place. If you intend to walk back you can ask the restaurant to call a taxi for you to meet you at Sai Wan Pavillion. It takes longer to walk back as it is uphill, you need to leave between 45 mins and 1hr to get to the taxi pick up, depending on how fast you walk!
