This recreational lake is great for fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, relaxing, and recreational boating. There are numerous parks located around the lake all of which you can find detailed information on this site. There are some great hiking trails around the lake as well mostly within Eagle Mountain Park. Eagle Mountain Lake is also known for its beautiful lake homes. Located just 15 miles north of downtown Fort Worth, this lake offers some of the best lake living near the city. One great thing about Eagle Mountain Lake are the numerous hills, bluffs, and mountains that offer up so many great views of the lake. Renting a boat can also be a wonderful way to explore Eagle Mountain Lake. Life is better on the water.
