Vällingby Centrum is a shopping centre with many outlets that has open streets. Here there are nice restaurants and movie theater.

Today(24/1/2023) we went to Tyresta national park and it was a really beautiful experience. We got there by first taking line 19 to the center and by taking 807 and 834.
We started following the trail that led us to lake Bylsjön and got there fast since it’s not so far and the trails were very good. It has been pretty cold the past few days so the lake was frozen and the view was amazing. After we made our way to lake Årsjön, this trail was less easy to walk but still doable for the average person. This lake is a lot longer so we walked halfway around so we could see the end and the view was breathtaking. After enjoying the silence and the nature we made our way back to the entrance of the park to take the bus back before it got dark.

Tyresta National Park

Today(24/1/2023) we went to Tyresta national park and it was a really beautiful experience. We got there by first taking line 19 to the center and by taking 807 and 834.

An attractive forested area at about 3 km from the apartment, with various trails, such as a path along the water from Kanaan to Maltesholm. At Canaan is a cosy café with coffee and cakes and other food and drinks (open year round).

Easily reachable via Akeshov metrostation close to Hässelby (walk to Akeshovs Slott). The reserve has a nice trail around a lake with information about the ice age remains in this areas. Close to the Slott a greenhouse houses a pleasant café with homemade food and drinks by an Iranian lady.

Judarskogen Nature Preserve
Judarskogens naturereservatEasily reachable via Akeshov metrostation close to Hässelby (walk to Akeshovs Slott). The reserve has a nice trail around a lake with information about the ice age remains in this areas. Close to the Slott a greenhouse houses a pleasant café with homemade food and drinks by an Iranian lady.

The area has many beautiful trains, some of which offer views of the royal palace on the other side of the water. At the entry/parking lot is a nice café
