Perched high on the cliffs above Playa Carrizalillo, Espadin is known for its spectacular sunsets, seafood and Oaxacan cuisine. Just make sure you don’t have too many Mezcalitas - its 185 steps down to the beach!

When you are craving sushi in Puerto Escondido, trust us - this is hands down the best in town. Excellently prepared naturo rolls, terrific miso soup and tempura and a surfista atmosphere make this a great local option for dinner.

El Bicho provides some of the best sunsets in Puerto. Run by charming Argentines, this is our favorite spot for grilled meats, fish and vegetables. The roaring woodfire, great live music and incredible beach setting is hard to beat.

Enjoy thin, crispy delicious pizza in a casual beach setting where you can put your feet in the sand and listen to great live music. Its communal seating and fire pits are a great way to meet other travelers. A very fun night. No reservations - first come first severed basis.

Located a 30-Minute drive north of La Gema lies the magical world of Casa Wabi and Kakurega Omakase. An absolute must in our opinion for guests traveling to Puerto. Reservations Required.

If Levi is around - ask for him as he is always ready for hearty laughs and great conversation.
