Play at the beach, tour Old Town and get a bite to eat. Mo's is the most popular restaurant, but there are so many excellent eateries in Old Town. We love going to BJ's for ice cream. The best whale watching is mid Dec-mid Jan with March-June being the runner up. My favorite beach is Strawberry Hill, 20 miles north of Florence. Check the tide schedule before hand. Strawberry Hill has great tide pools.

The top level of the 5th Street Public Market has a fun little food court. There are also more restaurants and bars on many of the blocks surrounding the Market. It's fun to walk around the 5th Street Market area, see the shops and choose a place to eat.
