Lying at the foot of the Ochil Hills, the glen is easily accessible and is just 10 minutes from the apartment making it the ideal location for a family stroll. In fact. The stunning glen has been a popular destination for walkers since the Victorian era.
There is a range of fascinating walks that take visitors past deep gorges and high waterfalls amid an abundant plant life. it is this range of wildlife habitats and important geological features that led to the areas designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
One of the main attractions of the glen is the spectacular 15th century Castle Campbell which sits majestically at he top of the glen. The ancient fortress has been owned and maintained by the National Trust for Scotland since 1953.
In the summer months, a cafe serving wholesome affordable food and drinks is open to the public.
