Stunningly beautiful nearby hot springs nestled up near the Chalk Cliffs. In the summer, our favorite side is the north side springs with an infinity pool and large in ground hot water slide. In the winter (or when water flow is low), check out the south pools where you can sit in natural hot pools inside the Chalk Creek river.

St Elmo is a neat little nearby ghost town. It is fun to explore the town itself, but is also the access point to a host of hiking and ATV trails, has a little convenient store in the summer, and a little chipmunk area where you can feed nuts to the local chipmunks.

An awesome ski mountain without the huge price tag, Monarch is a haven for locals who are eager to hit the ski slopes. The brewery on the mountain also serves up a great Bloody Mary!
