Beautiful little village with a woodland walk in Ethy Woods across the bridge or stepping stones depending on the tide. Stay on the car park side of the river and search for the ruins of Tivoli Park. Lerryn provided the inspiration for Wind in the Willows. Ice-creams, snacks and cream teas at the village shop with seating by the river.

I recommend starting your exploration at Minions. Beautiful walks from this tiny village and it has a tea shop. Consider visitng Dozmary Pool, Siblyback lake, Golitha Falls and St Neot church for its medieval stained glass windows whilst you are in the area

Neighbourhoods

Lanreath is a small village with an interesting church well worth visiting. Our village shop is community run and open daily - easily reached from the end of our driveway. The Punchbowl Inn is being refurbished and evening drinks are also available at The Tipsy Cow. Our quiet village has cottages which look like they have appeared on a chocolate box lid. Cornish Gouda cheese is made here (featured on Rick Stein's guide to Cornwall)
