Walking distance local. Scenic walk is right out of the driveway, when you come to the bend in the road take the public footpath on the left. Follow that past the greenhouses and through the field until you come to the Mill. Turn left down Mill Lane and you will come out at the roundabout and see the pub directly opposite you.

Local walk from the Orchard Cabin
A lovely local walk, turn either way onto Post Office Lane, which leads to Fisher Lane. Walk down Fisher Lane until you reach Black Dog Nursery on the left, which has an honesty box for lovely fruit, veg & flowers. Turn left down the public path just before the nursery. Walk through the fields until you reach the converted barns. Turn right and keep following the road around to return to Black Dog nursery. Or turn left and follow the road around. When you get to the mill, you can turn left into footpath just before the mill, which takes you through the field past the greenhouses and you'll come out on Post Office Lane. Or keep walking straight to end up at The Walnut Tree pub.

Hunston is the closest village with shops and where you can find Chichester Canal, which leads to Chichester City one way and Dell Quay the other way. Walk left out of the driveway, left onto Church Road until you reach St Stephen's Church. To the left of the church is a public footpath, follow the footpath, through the field, two kissing gates then turn right through a field in the direction of the backs of some houses, which are visible. There is a small path where the houses are that leads onto Southover Way and that road takes you down to Hunston where you can find two shops and the canal.
