This is a very Danish type of breakfast. We love porridge, and GRØD makes them so delicious with a lot of optional toppings. They have two restaurants closed by both at Birkegade and Jægersbroggade. They also make lovely dinner dishes like risotto and daal.

Just 500 meters from the apartment is my local bike shop Garden Cykler - here you can rent bikes. The price is 50DKK/day (24 hours) and the service is always nice

Nature and parks
The park Fælledparken is mainly used for activities which is why it contains a big grass area. It is my go to for running, because it takes me a little away from roads and cars traffic.
It is also right besides the Danish National stadium if you are interested in football.

If you’re in for a longer walk the garden at Frederiksberg is amazing. You can walk around for hours and see the big palace, little bridges connection the streams and even go for a little boat ride. Funfact: I did that on my birthday with my parents
Frederiksberg garden is so close to the zoo that, if you’re lucky, you can see animals in several places following the fence.

Basically, we tend to jump into the water wherever possible in the summertime in Copenhagen. However not every place with a lot of people sunbathing and swimming is legal (Mainly due to boats and safety) so make sure to check this. This is one of my favorite spots
