The Hamlet of Wycoller can make for a great walk but you should allow yourselves a couple of hours to get there. This beautiful village is well worth a visit if you enjoy tiny villages. While it is small, there is a great café where you can enjoy some local treats.

If you walk or drive up Colne (right from our front door) you will find everything you need, a bank, clothing stores, tanning salons, hair dressers, bridal stores, swimming hall, coffee shops, bars, restaurants etc. You name it, Colne’s got it. We really recommend About Coffee, we have lived in many different countries but this is by far the best brew! I recommend a Mocha and whatever cakes they have on the day-indulge, they’re all good! For local eating, just a 10 minute walk up from our home is Tubbs, a fantastic wine bar/restaurant/casual dining place at reasonable prices.
