Our lovely local pub and restaurant. In the summer there is a nice area to sit out. Very friendly and welcoming. They do a nice brunch!
"The pub dates back to the 19th century. It was originally built by John Walter III – who owned the Bearwood estate at the time, including our cottage! Built for the workers on his land to have somewhere to go after a hard day’s toil. The Walter family launched The Times and edited it for many years. With a stunning outdoor courtyard featuring their famous fountain and large heated and covered Pagoda, a large garden and two car parks. An impressive gastro inspired Pan European menu changing seasonally. Vegans & vegetarian are well catered for. Food here is scrumptious all year round! A drink selection from Rebellion Brewery Ales, to a great pint of Birra Moretti. There is a great selection of old and new world wines, handcrafted Gin's, Rum's, & Whiskeys!"
