Nice sand beach with kayak and stand up paddle rentals, shallow water so you can walk way out, and a floating trampoline and slide you can swim out to. Great spot for a summer afternoon.

Donner Lake is a beautiful little lake, totally different from Lake Tahoe and every bit as fun to visit. The state park is a great way to see it. Bring towels, a picnic, and a dog if you have one.
